Nason Dietitian Leads the Way for Diabetes Awareness

Stephanie Phillips, the director of dietary services at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center, has dedicated her career to improving the lives of those affected by diabetes. Having grown up surrounded by diabetes in her family, Phillips has made it her mission to educate and support others through proper nutrition and dietary changes.

“I have been around it my whole life,” Phillips said, recalling how her parents were both diabetic. Her personal journey into the field of nutrition began after her father, a lifelong diabetic, was diagnosed with colon cancer.
