How the "Thought for the Week" Began

My 2,100th “Thought for the Week” is in The Herald office. Celebrate this milestone with me. As we approached this time, former Editor, Anna Miller proposed I write about the beginnings of this journey. Since she has now moved on, I mentioned it to the present Editor Cati Keith.
