Superintendent Brian Helsel reported at the Clayburg-Kimmel School District Board of Directors Regular January Voting/Working meeting held on January 8, that their Safety and Security Grant for $114,103 had been approved with direct payment from the state.
Two Security Resource Officers (SRO’s) will be paid from the grant. The Peer Buddy Club Grant for students in grade 11 and 12 who are interested in working with special education students would be part of this.
