High Winds in Cove

High winds roared through the Cove area on Sunday, causing some damage to a Roaring Spring restaurant and also knocking out power to some residents for several hours. The highest wind velocity record at the Flight Service Center at the Blair County Airport was 58 mph. Roaring Spring fire company was called to OIP in borough along East Main Street blew part of the roof oof the building and too electric lines down with it.
