Wburg Boys' Basketball Finishes 1-1 in Holiday Classic

The Williamsburg boys basketball team played in the Cambria Heights Holiday Classic on Dec. 26-27 and finished with a 1-1 record.

The Blue Pirates suffered a 60-46 loss to West Shamokin in the opener before narrowly downing Glendale 39-38 to earn third place.

Logan Brantner had nine points to lead Williamsburg against the Wolves.

Against the Vikings, Williamsburg used a 13-7 scoring edge in the third to separate itself enough as Glendale won the fourth with a 14-10 advantage.

Ethan Reffner’s 13 points led the Blue Pirates.
