Lady Bulldogs Come Up Short in Tournament

On December 27th and 28th, the Central girls participated in the Judge Fred B. Miller Reliance Bank Tournament held at Tyrone Area High School.

The Lady Dragons came away with an 0-2 record by falling to Penn Cambria 46-30 on opening night before dropping a heartbreaking 52-42 overtime contest to Bellwood-Antis in the consolation.

In the opener, Central trailed by just two points at the half (15-13) before it was outscored by 14 in the second half by the Lady Panthers.

Marah Dickson led the Lady Scarlet Dragons with 11 points, while Lyla Imes contributed 10.
