Claysburg Swimming Preview: Alexys Tomlinson

Alexys Tomlinson has high hopes and big goals for the swimming season. She hopes to place in the top three at Districts at the end of the season. She is also hoping to make new friends from other teams and get the most out of her high school season.

Her comfort level with and ability to swim all strokes and events is one of her strengths. She plans on working to achieve her personal best time standards over the season and improving each week.

At the Tyrone/Somerset/Rockwood/Claysburg meet, Tomlinson won the 100 Butterfly with a time of 1:11.87 and the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:18.60, earning a total of 12 points for Claysburg. She also qualified for Districts in both events.
