Patricia J. Beach

Patricia J. Beach, 93, of Roaring Spring, passed away Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024.

She was born Aug. 12, 1931, in Altoona, the daughter of the late David B. and Rose E. (Crist) Dodson. She married Conway Torrence Beach April 8, 1950 and he died June 20, 2009.

She is survived by two children: Stephen C. Beach and wife Vickie R., and Pamela R. Rose and husband James R., all of Roaring Spring; four grandchildren, Patricia L. Feathers (Mark), Brian R. Rose (April), Rhelda J. Guerra (Paul), and Stephen R. Beach; and five great-grandchildren, Caden, Braylen, Teagen, Jake, and Ella.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, C. Jesse Hall; three sisters, Ruth E. Dodson, Dorothy I. Smith, and Genevieve Decker; and five brothers, Russell D., Chalmer A., Durbin H., Fred W., and Arthur C.

Patricia was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. She was a 1949 graduate of Morrison Cove High School. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and was a caregiver for numerous family members.

She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and reading.

A funeral was held Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2024, in the Todd T. Thompson Funeral Home Inc., Roaring Spring, (www.thompsonfh.com). Pastor Tim Bartholomew officiated. Interment was made in Alto-Reste Park.
