For many years, the Williamsburg Lady Pirate Volleyball team was led by a quiet coach who helped train many lady Pirates to become much better young women, leaders, and volleyball players.
During the Williamsburg Community School Board meeting on Tuesday evening, the school board regretfully accepted the resignation of long-time head coach Marina Brubaker.
“She did a really great job with the program, and really taught those girls a lot,” Board President Dr. Barry England said. “She definitely will be missed.” No further discussion was held on a replacement.
