The Curryville Water Association has awarded a contract to Fred D. Albright of Altoona for the drilling of a well and testing it. If the tests prove successful, the well will be used as the water system that is to be built for the town.

A national awards program for teachers in the field of environmental education will be conducted during the coming year in the Blair County Conservation District, according to Donald Gearhart, district chairman.
