John L. Coates

John L. Coates, 61, of Roaring Spring, passed away Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 13, 2024, at UPMC Altoona.

He was born March 14, 1963, in Roaring Spring the son of the late Charles E. and Naomi R. (Koones) Coates.

He is survived by two sisters and a brother, Ruth Coates of Roaring Spring, Richard Coates and wife Janet of Roaring Spring, and Rose Bishop and husband John of Hollidaysburg; three nephews: Preston Coates (Trish), Tyson Coates (Sarah), and Kevin Bishop; and a great-niece and a great-nephew.
