Tana Lynn Byler, 40, of Martinsburg, passed away into the arms of Jesus, Saturday morning, Nov. 9, 2024, at her home, following a four and a half year courageous battle with cancer.
She was born April 17, 1984, in Altoona, daughter of Richard S. Holland and Tammy D. (Zeth) Holland. On Aug. 13, 2005, she married Joseph C. Byler at the Leamersville Grace Church, Duncansville.
She is survived by her parents of Duncansville; her beloved husband, Joey of 19 years; two children: Mason J. Byler and Juleah T. Byler both at home; a brother, Matthew R. Holland; a nephew, Ryan M. Holland; a sister-in-law, Megan Frederick (husband, Mark); two nephews: Trent and Jack Frederick; and a niece, Brooke Frederick.
She was a 2002 graduate of Central High School and received her Licensed Practical Nursing certificate from the Allegheny College of Maryland. Tana was employed as an LPN at both Homewood at Martinsburg and Heaton Family Practice in Roaring Spring, with a total of 19 years of helping patients.
Tana was an active member of Grace Fellowship Church, where she served in the nursery and assisted with the youth program.
She loved spending time with family and friends, especially with her husband, Joey and their children. Tana also enjoyed playing softball and hosting parties.
Tana was truly blessed with the gift of recognizing others in need. Helping others, no matter how big or small, brought her so much joy.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024, at Grace Fellowship Church, Duncansville. Pastor Mark E. Lingenfelter will be officiating. Private interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
