New Enterprise
Kenneth Eugene Bupp, 82, of New Enterprise, passed away Nov. 9, 2024 at his home.
He was born June 13, 1942, in York; son of the late Charles Ed and Helen May (Redding) Bupp. On Jan. 25, 1975, he was united in marriage to Shirley L. (Fenicle) Bupp.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley L. Bupp; son, Steven H. Bupp of Yellow Creek; daughter, Tracy N. Britt (Jason) of New Enterprise; grandchildren: Alexander, Jesse, Evelina, Juliana, Remi, and Bjorn Britt; brother, Gary Bupp; and sisters, Mary Markle and Sara Bupp.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Charles Jr., Paul, and Bill Bupp.
Kenneth served his country as a member of the United States Army in Germany, serving between 1959 and 1962. He attained the rank of Specialist 4th Class and received a medal for Good Conduct.
Kenneth was a self-employed service mechanic of Harvestore Silos and Penn Jersey Products.
He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and enjoyed shooting pool.
Kenneth was a member of the Six Mile Run American Legion Post 556, Saxton Sportsmen Association, and the PA Striped Bass Association, Raystown Lake.
Friends will be received Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024, from 4 until 6 p.m., at the Stone Funeral Home in Woodbury and Friday, Nov. 15, 2024, from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service at the funeral home. Pastor Paul Snyder will be officiating.
