Glenn Eugene Burket, 91, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones in his home Nov. 3, 2024, in Dover, Ohio.
He was born Oct. 12, 1933. Glenn was known for his intelligence, warm-heartedness, and generosity.
Glenn graduated from Juniata College in Huntingdon, and went on to establish and lead Flex Technologies as its owner and CEO from 1975 until his passing in 2024.
His professional dedication and visionary leadership were instrumental in advancing the company's success for nearly five decades.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Glenn was an avid fisherman and dog lover, passions that provided him great joy and relaxation.
Glenn was a devoted family man, survived by his sons, Robert and Mark; daughter, Laurie (David); grandchildren, Nicole, Christopher (Nadia), Jacqueline (John), and Kathleen (Jarrid); and great-grandchildren, Lucas, Colin, and Sloane. He is also survived by many other loving in-laws, family members, and friends.
Glenn was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gail, mother Freda, and father Wilson, of Martinsburg.
Glenn will be remembered for his keen intellect, compassionate heart, and unwavering generosity, especially regarding the Tuscarawas County 4-H Youth Association, of which he was an ardent and enthusiastic supporter.
His legacy will live on through the family he adored, the company he built, and the community he impacted.
A memorial was held Monday, Nov. 11, 2024, at the Geib Funeral Center at Dover.
