There was a problem at the Martinsburg Elementary School polling site in Martinsburg Borough Tuesday morning.
Around 7:10 a.m., a truck from Blair County delivered one of the electronic devices that accepts and counts the ballots.
Director of Elections Sarah Seymour said the machine for Martinsburg Ward One was delivered to Ward Two. She said they had to get a trailer from the election office to switch the machines, which caused a slight delay in opening these locations in Martinsburg.
As of press time, there have been no other known issues at polling locations in the county.
At around 7:11 a.m., there were about 20 people in line to vote at the Martinsburg Elementary School.
At about 9 a.m., Seymour said that polls were very busy and thought it would be that way all day.
U.S. Rep, John Joyce, R-Blair, visited the Martinsburg Volunteer Fire Department.
