A burn ban has been put in place by Freedom Township Supervisors till further notice. With the dry weather and lots of dead foliage on the ground, fires can get out of control and spread very rapidly. An update will be announced when the Burn Ban is lifted.

Notice is hereby given that Pleasant View Farms Inc., 261 Pleasant View Farms Road, Martinsburg PA 16662, intends to submit an amendment and renewal application to the Department of Environmental Protection for an Individual NPDES permit for a Concentrated Animal Feeding Operation at 261 Pleasant View Farms Road, Martinsburg PA, Taylor and North Woodbury Township, Blair County. The permit amendment will include the expansion of the existing dairy operation.

This application will be made under provisions of the Clean Streams Law, Act of June 22, 1937, P.L.1987, as amended.
