In Eric Shield’s October 17th personality profile of Blair County native and Hollywood celebrity Hedda Hopper, he mentioned that she has a star on the Walk of Fame in Los Angeles.

In 2010 I was visiting relatives in LA and drove into downtown to see some of the tourist attractions. I found a rare parking space along the Walk of Fame boulevard.

When I stepped over the curb and looked down I came face-to-face with Hedda’s star, which I proceeded to photograph. It can be seen in the photo section of my website www.jameswentz.com.
