Panthers Clinch Home Playoff Game

After trailing North Star by one point at the end of the half Northern Bedford came back in the second half to beat North Star 28-7 to win the game of the week. That win secured the Panthers a home playoff game.

The Player of the Game was Ben Clark who rushed for 23 attempts for 101 yards and three rushing touchdowns.

The Play of Game was Schleinkofer’s pass to Aaron Bowers for a 35 yard touchdown pass with Bowers diving to make a hard catch to win the game.

The Unsung Hero of the Game was Connor Donaldson who had six solo tackles and two sacks. Donaldson and the rest of the defense made it hard for North Star’s offense to move the ball in the second half limiting them to just 46 yards.

Next week Northern plays Windber at Panther Community Stadium for a game that will decide the ICC South Division title.
