The Borough of Woodbury has set Halloween night for Thursday, October 31 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
The County of Blair is seeking proposals from private, public or governmental agencies, community-based organizations, nonprofits, tribes/tribal organizations, schools and school districts who are interested in providing workforce development activities under Blair County’s Whole Home Repair Program until 4:00 p.m. prevailing local time on Monday, November 25, 2024.
The Whole Home Repairs funding is applicable to rules and regulations of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and is limited to increase the knowledge and/or skills necessary to increase housing construction workforce. Blair County will utilize Whole Home Repair funds to provide workforce development programs that will connect trainees to jobs through committed employer partnership related to improving the habitability and performance of homes. All proposals must be directed solely for Blair County residents.
A minimum request of $25,000 or a maximum request of $75,000 is available. The County of Blair reserves the right to award one or more proposals, to reject any or all submissions or to waive any informalities in the submission process. Tardy submissions will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender, unopened. The County of Blair encourages Minority and Women Owned Business and Section 3 firms to apply.
