Youth Recognition Night at NBC Football Game Last Friday

Northern Bedford’s football game on Friday, September 13 was Youth Recognition Night. All of the youth football players, Panther youth cheerleaders, mini cheerleaders, and the Hart in Motion group participated in events throughout the evening.

The youth football players and youth mini cheerleader formed a tunnel to welcome the varsity players onto the field for the start of the game.

Hart in Motion performed during halftime to music played by the NBC Marching Band.

The mini cheerleaders joined the varsity cheerleaders during the third quarter.

Following the game, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) held a fifth quarter event.

Students listened to Pastor Josh Tobias speak on joy and he gave visual aids using balloons to compare how one’s joy can fill them or deflate them.

Following the short lesson, students all joined hands to form a circle on the football field to pray for their school, students, and athletes.

The remainder of the evening was filled with activities including volleyball, corn hole, and other various games. Pizza was provided for the students to enjoy.

It was a well attended event following the game.
