Dad was a humble, giving and loving man who at times could be an ornery cuss. (Don't worry, he always laughed at that). Dad was a hardworking man who loved to tinker. He was an animal lover, especially when it came to his dogs, Rootbeer, Lucky and Butch.
Dad's favorite thing was to farm and pick strawberries. That was when he was at his happiest.
A graveside service for Mr. Butler will be held Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in the Alto-Reste Cemetery in Altoona. Steven Butler will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your local animal shelter or rescue center.
