At the September 5 meeting, Woodbury Township supervisor Paul Harclerode said, “We need to advertise for help.” The township is currently looking for both full-time and part-time workers, CDL preferred. The supervisors approved a motion to advertise for help.
The township’s red International Truck would not pass inspection. A motion to advertise the truck for sale, but keep the plow and spreader was approved.
Stiffler McGraw presented an opportunity to apply for a Local Share Account Grant.
The grant would help the township purchase a single-axle plow truck to replace the International.
Harclerode made the motion to allow for Stiffler McGraw to apply for grant funding with Eastep seconding, motion passed.
The township hoped to have some estimates for trucks for the next meeting.
The township currently has 34 speed limit signs to install. Following a proposal from Kenco, the township voted to purchase a post driver for signs for $2,326 with Eastep making the motion and Harclerode seconding, motion passed.
The township approved advertising for winter maintenance help and year-round maintenance help and sent a notice to residents regarding mailbox damage during the winter plow season.
