Both children and adults will enjoy a memorable Hallowe’en in Martinsburg this year, according to the plans for the Martinsburg Booster Association.

The one hundred and twentieth annual session of the East Pennsylvania Eldership of the Church of God in North America will be held in the Bare Memorial Church, Roaring Spring, Sept. 20 to 22.

Tuesday’s primary election was marked in Morrisons Cove by a very light vote and little interest–even in the few contests that developed for nominations.

Four Cambria County youths were fined $50 each, and ordered to pay for repairs at the Morrisons Cove Memorial Park in Martinsburg, at a hearing before Justice of the Peace Elvin C. Carper of Martinsburg last Thursday.

Miss Patricia Rattigan of Johnstown spent several days last week in the Herbert Hoover home. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Don Rattigan were also guests of the Hoovers on Tuesday.
