Barbara Jeanne "BJ" Perkins (Wise)

Barbara Jeanne "BJ" Perkins (Wise) was born Jan. 6, 1950, to Martin Luther Wise Jr. & Mildred Olive Wise (Dick) in Roaring Spring.

After battling with multiple health issues for many years Barbara gained her heavenly wings Thursday, Aug. 15, 2024, at the age of 74 at Baptist Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Barbara graduated in 1967 from Central High School and then attended Laboratory Tech training at Mercy Hospital in Altoona, graduating in 1969.

Barbara had two children, Eric Detwiler, born in 1972, who preceded her in death in 1973 and Victoria "Vicki" Armke (Mead) born in 1978.
