The 110-acre farm of Adam Fouse along Clover Creek was offered at private sale for $9,000 by A. Irving Fouse and Clara Fouse.

While cleaning and preparing to fence in the cemetery on the W.C. Skyles farm near Henrietta, Frank Glass discovered a cherry tree measuring 15 feet around the base, the largest in that area. The plot contained three generations of Smiths and that many of the Glass families.

Helen Clouse, little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Clouse of Woodbury, was improving after being stricken with infantile paralysis.

Jacob Wareham, with his sons and daughters, took a recent motor trip to Johnstown, Windber and Rummel.
