Inez M. Keith, 91, a resident at Garvey Manor, formerly of Roaring Spring, went home to be with the Lord Monday, Aug. 19, 2024, at the home.
She was born March 2, 1933, in Roaring Spring the daughter of the late Elmer and Mary (Lydic) Helsel. She married Elmer S. Keith Sept. 9, 1955, and he passed away Jan. 24, 2007.
Inez is survived by five children: Phillip "Flip" Keith and wife Tammy of Roaring Spring, Roy and wife Kathy of Roaring Spring, Elaine Decker of Roaring Spring, Ronald Keith and wife Theresa of Martinsburg, and Joseph Keith and wife Renee of Roaring Spring; 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Rayota, and three brothers, Donald, Raymond, and Edward; and a son-in-law, Terry Decker.
She was a long time member of Albright Church of the Brethren where she had served as a Deaconess and a Sunday School teacher. She was a graduate of Morrison Cove High School and retired from Nason Hospital.
Inez loved crocheting, sewing, gardening, and canning. She was a member of T.O.P.S., Hollidaysburg Chapter.
A funeral was held Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2024, at Albright Church of the Brethren. Pastor Dan Hammel officiated. Interment was made in Albright Cemetery.
Contributions in Inez's memory may be given to Albright Church of the Brethren.
