The Bedford County Wagon Train will make a visit to the southern end of Morrisons Cove this weekend.

Officers of the home association of the Roaring Spring Friendship Fire Company signed a contract, Wednesday evening, Aug. 7, with Cove Structural Systems, Inc., of Martinsburg for construction of a $200,000 bi-level fire hall.

According to the Bedford County Chapter of the American Red Cross, the county is presently facing a crisis situation that is unknown to most people. The chapter was told by the Pittsburgh Division of the American Red Cross, that if it did not clear debts incurred during the past four years of operation, each individual in the county would have to pay an additional cost of at least $36 per pint of blood processed.

Reserved seat tickets for Northern Bedford home football games this fall will go on sale at the high school office Monday, Aug. 26.
