Maxwell Transit Team 2 took first place in the seventh annual golf outing which included Griffin Snowberger, Nick Baum, Zach Oakes, and Cody Clapper.
Burger King of Roaring Spring, the seventh annual golf outing sponsor, was represented by Tom Otis, Marilyn Otis, Sue Timoney, and Craig Timoney.
The Seventh Annual Morrisons Cove Rotary Club and Dragon Pride Foundation Golf Outing was held on Friday, June 21 at Iron Masters Country Club. This winning partnership raised a profit of over $12,000 this year thanks to an impressive list of sponsors, golfers, and many volunteers.
The golf outing was a four-person scramble format. Maxwell Transit Team 2 was the winning team. Webber Associates took second place and NPC took third place.
The Outing's top three teams were:
First Place: Maxwell Transit Team 2 included Griffin Snowberger, Nick Baum, Zach Oakes, and Cody Clapper
Second Place: Webber Associates included Mike Raley, Mark Emeigh, Don Knisely, and Derek Martin
Third Place: NPC included Greg Ritchey, Brian Brumbaugh, Luke Barnhart, and Tim McCarthy
Skills game winners included: Closest to the Pin on Hole 3: Parker Grigg
Longest Drive on Hole 8: Zach Oakes
Longest Putt on Hole 11: Darin Decker
Closest to the Pin on Hole 16: Mark Emeigh
Longest Drive on Hole 17: Griff Snowbeger
Burger King of Roaring Spring was the Outing Sponsor. Funds raised from the golf outing will be split between Morrisons Cove Rotary Club and Dragon Pride Foundation to support youth programs in the Morrisons Cove.
