SC Power Reunion has Wi-Fi Accessibility

Jason Hileman reported on the last tractor pull at the Southern Cove Power Reunion’s monthly meeting on July 2.

There were about 200 pulls; some were credited from the previous pull which was stopped due to rain.

The club discussed obtaining sand for the track to help with it drying out.

An additional fryer is needed for the kitchen and Barb Detwiler will obtain the information needed to possibly purchase a new one.

The tractor pull that was to be held on July 20 was canceled and was rescheduled to July 27. Weigh-in is at 3 p.m.

Gun raffle tickets are still available from club members and at the Alum Bank Show and the tractor pull.

Two new picnic tables will be built by Bobbie Reffner after approval given to purchase wood.

The club has some ribbons and buttons from previous years and may be collector items for some. There will be two raffle baskets made for the fall show basket raffle.

The children’s swing was broken on the last tractor pull. Reffner made repairs and it is back working at this time.

There will be an auction at former member Bob Detwiler’s home on August 24 for any interested party. Milk bottles, crates, equipment and more will be available for purchase.

Crowsnest has completed the Wi-Fi work at the club grounds. Anyone visiting the grounds may access this by going to your settings and it will pop us no password is needed.

Next meeting will be August 1. All members are encouraged to attend to help with work needed for the fall show and organization.
