The Central PA Bible Conference 104th Session Starts July 28

The Central Pennsylvania Bible Conference will conduct its 104th year of ministry during the annual summer session at the Grand Pavilion at Lakemont Park in Altoona on the dates of July 28-August 2.

The Bible Conference was established in 1920 and remains the longest continual existing conference of its kind in america.

This year’s theme is “Maturing in Christ” studying the book of James.

Speakers will include Dr. David Kistler with Hope Ministries International from Hickory, North Carolina and Dr. Wendell Calder with Local Church Evangelism from Hudson, Fla.

Missionary guest will be Yao Gbolou, Director of The Way of Truth Baptist Mission in Togo, West Africa.

Special musicians will include New Journey, The Hyssongs, The Agees, Karen Knight, The Binkley Family and Dr. Anne Binkley & Jeffrey Cogan.

Services will be held at 6 p.m, Sunday and at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Monday-Friday with a meal at 5:30 p.m.

In addition to the adult services, there will be a Children’s Conference held during each service led by Carrie Biddle, Director of the Local South Central PA Child Evangelism Fellowship. A Youth Rally led by Pastor Tim Binkley of Faith Baptist Church in Salisbury, Maryland will be held Monday, July 29 beginning at 3 p.m. at Lakemont Park.
