Woodbury Township July Meeting

At the June meeting, Woodbury Township Chairman Joe Lansberry said there had been multiple complaints regarding the intersection of Bluebird Drive and Robin Lane; supervisors gave permission to Solicitor Aimee Willett to write an ordinance for the installation of the stop sign. At the July 3 meeting, supervisors voted to advertise the ordinance with Paul Harclerode making motion and Rich Easter seconding, motion passed.

Cove Forge submitted a permit application regarding the building that will house a new cafeteria and dormitory with Rich Eastep making the motion to grant permit with Paul Harclerode seconding, motion passed.

The township appointed Bill Deters as the township’s local emergency management coordinator with Rich Eastep making motion and Paul Harclerode seconding, motion passed. Roger Oswald was appointed as the township’s representative to the Williamsburg Fire Commission with Harclerode making motion and Eastep seconding, motion passed.

The township is still seeking a roadmaster – those who would like to apply for the full-time position can contact the Township office.
