Frank D. Snyder

Frank Denver Snyder, 69, of rural Martinsburg, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday morning, June 16, 2024, at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center, Roaring Spring.

He was born Aug. 8, 1954, in Roaring Spring, son of the late Denver F. and Hazel Z. (Boyer) Snyder. On July 3, 1976, he married Beverly C. (Hoover) Snyder at the Smithfield Church of the Brethren, rural Martinsburg.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Bev of 47 years; a niece, Christine Stone (Andrew); a nephew, Allan Snyder (Shelly); a sister-in-law, Yvonne Snyder; many nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.

Frank was preceded in death by two brothers: Donald and George Snyder.

He was a 1972 graduate of Central High School, Martinsburg. Frank retired in 2019 as a truck driver and load out technician from Cargill, Martinsburg with 33 years of service. He previously worked as a bulk milk truck driver for P.E. Kramme for 6 years.

Frank loved spending time with his family, watching trains and cutting firewood. He also enjoyed reading, going to turkey shoots and watching old western movies.

Friends will be received from 11a.m. until 2 p.m., Thursday, June 20, 2024, at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg, (www.bolgerfuneralhome.com), where a funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. Pastor Jeff Fackler will be officiating. Interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
