Robert Oro Mountain

Robert Oro Mountain, 84, formerly of Woodbury, passed away June 7, 2024, at Rebekah Manor Personal Care Home, Northern Cambria.

He was born July 21, 1939, in New Enterprise, son of the late Oro and Dollie (Reighard) Mountain. Bob first married Donna Lee Smith in 1958, she preceded him in death June 6, 2014. He then married Patricia (Yannut) Grosmick in 2017, who survives.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Mountain; son, Jeffrey Mountain (Sherri); grandson, Jonathan Mountain; great-granddaughter, Ava Rose Mountain; brothers, Wilbur, Merle, and Paul Mountain; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Donna Lee Mountain; a brother, Eugene Mountain; and sisters, Ura Eichelberger, Pearl Clark, and Dessie Deatrick.

Bob worked construction his whole life. First, as a teen with his father at New Enterprise Stone & Lime Company, building bridges. He then went to Nicodemus Construction as a job foreman, and later, Ralph J. Albarano & Sons as a superintendent. After retirement, Bob enjoyed gardening and spending time with his friends and family.

At request of the deceased, funeral services will be private. Interment will be in Salemville Cemetery.
