M-Burg to Pave Streets

Martinsburg Borough Council last week approved a plan to repave portions of two borough streets and six alleys. Council members voted unanimously June 7 to accept the only bid received for the work, which was in the amount of $33,705 from New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co.
State police investigated three incidents of theft in the local area over the past week.
The Blair County Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Foundation will hold a dedication ceremony on Friday, June 25, for the unveiling of the memorial statue in front of the Blair County Court House.
