The Dragon Volleyball team had a singular match against the West Shamokin Wolves, ending in the Dragons’ 3-0 defeat. Later in the week, the Dragons traveled to play in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Volleyball tournament.

Against the Wolves, the Dragons were defeated in just three quick sets of 25-13, 25-23 and 25-18. Christian Heuston had three kills and three blocks. Bryson Brooks had three kills and six good digs, while Logan Hummel had seven assists in the losing effort.

With the weekend came a tournament for the Dragons. In pool play, the Dragons split with Deer Lakes, losing 25-15 and then winning 25-23. They then lost to Thomas Jefferson High School with two matches of 25-21. Another split came against Mt. Lebanon, losing 26-24 and winning 26-15. They then lost to Baldwin with scores of 25-12 and 25-15. Finally, the Dragons lost to West Shamokin in the first round of playoffs 25-10.
