Nancy Elizabeth Farringer

Nancy Elizabeth Farringer, 75, formerly of Fredricksburg, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024, after a brief illness in Waverly Hall, Georgia.

She was born Jan. 16, 1949, in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late J. Milton and Berneda E. (Parks) Corle.

On May 19, 1971, she married Samuel J. Farringer.

She is survived by her husband, Samuel, of 52 years; four children: Tammy Farringer (John Dillen) of Claysburg, Amy Jo Fouse (Clarence) of Hartsville, SC, Johnathan Farringer (Jennifer), Waverly Hall, Ga., and Malinda S. Dodson (Robert) of Hopewell; five grandchildren: Berneda Cox (Kurtis), Amanda Zimmerman, CPL Bradlee Traxler (Brooklyn), Samantha Fouse, and Alexander Farringer; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Lois E. Lear and Imogene B. Farringer.

She was preceded in death by two brothers: James M. Corle and Richard E. Corle.

Nancy was a 1966 graduate of Central High School, Martinsburg. She retired as a dietary aide from The Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg, with more than 20 years of service.

After retiring, she volunteered for The Village at Morrisons Cove Auxiliary. Nancy was a member of Clover Creek Church of the Brethren, rural Martinsburg.

She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nancy also enjoyed crafting, sewing, traveling, and camping.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no public services.
