A meeting was held on Thursday, March 20, at the Martinsburg Community Library to gauge interest in saving Royer Mansion, which was in jeopardy of being closed for good at the time. The site has been a financial drain for the Blair County Historical Society, since it took responsibility for the home after the “Friends of Royer Mansion” dissolved in 2012.
