January PGC Meeting Highlights

On Jan. 27, 2024, the Board of Commissioners of the Pennsylvania Game Commission held its meeting to set preliminary upcoming hunting seasons and bag limits. In a recent email, sportsmen’s advocate Greg Levengood shared some of the meeting’s highlights.

One of main interest to sportsmen concerned the reintroduction of the American marten, a small predator, to the Pennsylvania woods.
