Clear Understanding
At Valentine’s Day, we use the word “love” a lot. Much of the time we understand what we mean and hopefully others do as well. Sometimes, the meaning is not as clear as we wish it would be. We can say “I love my wife.” or, “I love a good book.” And the meaning for the word ‘love’ is not the same. In the Greek language, there are at least four words used for this word. One word is ‘phileo’. It means ‘brotherly love’ as in the name of the city Philadelphia, the ‘city of brotherly love.
