W.E. Curry of Henrietta received a much appreciated New Year’s gift in the form of promotion. He was named baggage master and express messenger on the trains running on the Morrisons Cove branch of the Pennsylvania Railroad.

The Salemville correspondent reported that David Reasy purchased the farm of Samuel Kagarise for $3,300 and would move there on April 1.
