Ask the Williamsburgers

It’s our last issue before the Christmas season. The Christmas season brings lots of great, warm and fuzzy memories for me. Whether it’s the church services, the getting together of family and friends, or just celebrating Jesus’ birth – Christmas is a time to celebrate. This last question was inspired by Christmas and all the activities surrounding the holiday – “What is your favorite Christmas carol or song?” Here is what a few residents had to say:

Jill Norris: “What Child is This?”

Stephanie Rhodes: “Oh Holy Night”

Ann Jones: “Silent Night”

Kevin Wise: “Little Drummer Boy”

Chris Grannas: “Mary Did You Know”

Judy Edwards: “Go Tell It On the Mountain”

Donna Gibson: “Angels We Have Heard on High”

Zena Saylor: “Away in a Manger”

Brandi Schwaderer: “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree”

Diana Barroner: “The First Noel”

Stan Grove: “Grandma Got Ran Over by a Reindeer”

Mike Swope: “Breath of Heaven (Mary’s Song)”

Sheryl Hart: Nat King Cole’s rendition of “The Christmas Song”

Donna Price: “Jingle Bells”

Rebecca Miller: “I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day”

For me, this is an easy question. As much as I do get sentimental about the religious-driven Christmas songs, I just love hearing “Feliz Navidad.”
