In a two-game week against the Clearfield Lady Bison and the Penn Cambria Lady Panthers, the Lady Dragons found a 57-43 victory over the Bison while suffering a 49-34 loss against the Panthers.
In the opening half, the Dragons led by a mere three points over the Bison, scoring 11 in the first quarter and 14 in the second for a 25-22 halftime score. They kept this lead heading into the fourth, where a huge quarter left them with the 14-point advantage and the victory. Morgan Knepp scored a game-high 24 points, while Bralyn Ellis added 15.
The Dragons fell into a 23-12 deficit in the opening half against the Panthers. Despite outscoring the Panthers in the third quarter 15-12, the Dragons couldn't quite catch up in the end. Megan Diehl led the Dragons' scoring with 11 points throughout the night.
The Dragons now sit on a record of 2-2, and have a lone match against the Penns Valley Lady Rams in the upcoming week.
