Council Member Says 'Goodbye'

“He was always willing to listen to the concerns of the employees, citizens and always was looking to save money for the Borough,” Borough Manager Joe Lansberry said of borough council member Don Zimmerman during the meeting last Monday evening, Dec. 4.

Zimmerman did not seek reelection after serving the borough for more than 22 years.

“With him as president, we now have a very good police department and the very best working crew that can do just about anything we need done in the Borough,” council member Jim Foreso said.

Council member Dakota Biddle echoed that same sentiment of Zimmerman.
