Claar Commended for 18 Consecutive Years on The Greenfield Board

The Greenfield Township board of supervisors approved its 2024 budget on Dec. 5 with no tax increase.

The township moved to donate $10,000 to the Claysburg Volunteer Fire Company and $5,000 to the Blue Knob Volunteer Fire Company and QRS. The donations are budgeted annually.

The CVFC received 18 calls for service during November. Chief Scott Eicher said it was a “very busy” month with two building fires.

The township police department received 109 calls for service during the month.
