The Lady Dragon Basketball team opened their season with two games in a tournament: first against the Marion Center Lady Stingers and the West Shamokin Lady Wolves. After suffering a 49-30 loss, the Dragons bounced back in the second matchup with a 44-31 victory.
In the match against Marion Center, the Dragons knew they were going into a tough matchup. Their opponent was a previous state-playoff contender with all five returning starters.
