Linda K. Isenberg, 67, of Williamsburg, passed away following a lengthy illness Tuesday morning, Nov. 21, 2023, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 22, 1956, in Altoona, daughter of the late Eugene Paul and Kathern Elizabeth (Dick) Brubaker. On Aug. 6, 1980, she married Kevin A. Isenberg in Kitty Hawk, NC.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Kevin of 43 years; three daughters: Melissa “Missy” Kifer (Marc), Angela “Angie” Isenberg and Katie Isenberg; two grandchildren: Allison and Jacob Kifer; three brothers: Ronald Brubaker (Marti) of Newark, DE, Robert Brubaker (Mary) of San Antonio, Texas and Richard Brubaker of Duncansville; several nieces; and a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Isenberg.
She was preceded in death by a son, Clinton Allen Isenberg; a sister-in-law, Glenda Brubaker; and a brother-in-law, Raymond Barry Isenberg.
Linda was a 1974 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She was employed as a teacher’s aide for the Williamsburg School District, before retiring in 2018 with over 20 years of service.
For many years she attended Grace Pointe Community Church, Williamsburg and more recently watched the Sunday live stream for The First Methodist Church of Williamsburg.
She loved spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren dance and play baseball. Linda also enjoyed bird watching (especially cardinals and orioles), gardening, camping, sitting on their porch reading her bible and watching television with her daughter, Katie.
A funeral took place Friday, Nov. 24, 2023, at The First Methodist Church of Williamsburg. Pastor C. Matthew Roberts officiated. Interment was held at Royer Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.
Memorial contributions in memory of Linda may be given to The First Methodist Church of Williamsburg (Youth Ministry), 431 W. Second St., Williamsburg, PA 16693.
