Betty Lou (Grove) McCready

Betty Lou (Grove) McCready, 91, of Martinsburg, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday morning, Nov. 7, 2023, at The Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg.

She was born Oct 6, 1932, in Altoona, daughter of the late William R. and Martha (Heffner) Grove. She married Dennis Eugene McCready on July 2, 1955. He preceded her in death in 2009, after sharing 54 years of marriage.

She is survived by a daughter, Debra Straesser and husband, Dwight; three sons: David and wife, Janet, Randall and wife, Kathy, and Daniel; eight grandchildren: Sara, Matthew, Michael, Matthew, Molly, Daniel, David, and Cait...
