In their final matches of the year, the Lady Dragon Volleyball team faced the Northern Bedford County Lady Panthers for their Senior Night at home and then traveled to face the Bald Eagle Area Lady Eagles. The Dragons found a 4-1 victory in their home match but were defeated in their final game 3-0.
Against the Northern Bedford County Lady Panthers, a tough first set left the Dragons down a set after a 27-25 score. However, the Dragons bounced back quickly, winning the next three to secure the game 25-23, 25-21 and 25-17. Kaitlyn Weitzel had 17 kills and 13 assists, while Madison Kennedy added 20 digs and eight kills. Makenna Kocsis had 21 digs and Heather Brumbaugh had nine kills and three stuff blocks. Amber Shade had 22 assists and Dessa Boyles added four stuff blocks for the overall victory.
In their final game, however, the Dragons did not have the same experience. Against the Bald Eagle Area Lady Eagles, the Dragons faced a tough 3-0 loss with scores of 25-18, 25-5 and 25-14. Weitzel had 12 digs and three aces, while Kennedy had 12 digs as well, and Boyles had three stuff blocks.
The Dragons had their Senior Night in the first match of the week, recognizing Seniors Heather Brumbaugh, Payton Gregg, Madison Kennedy, Makenna Kocsis and Kaitlyn Weitzel. These matches end their season with a record of 7-13.
