Stiffler-McGraw engineer John Clabaugh gave an update to Williamsburg Municipal Authority during its Tuesday, Oct. 10, meeting. Clabaugh provided an update for the Yellow Springs sewer line replacement project indicating that its start date would be the week of Oct. 17, and the project would not take long to complete.
The authority also adopted a resolution authorizing the submission of the LSA (Local Shares Grant) application. If successful, the grant will allow the authority to acquire a trailer mounded sewer jet to help aid in system maintenance.
A brief update was provided regarding ongoing sewage pretreatment discussions with Cenveo. Cenveo hosted a site visit with the authority last month and discussed their current and ongoing efforts to comply with the authority’s regulations. A written plan of action is expected from Cenveo to the authority in the near future.
Harry Mullins made the motion to accept the September minutes with David Myers seconding, motion passed. Myers also made the motion to accept the treasurer’s report. The motion passed.
Daryl Cole made the motion to approve the authority’s drought contingency plan. The motion passed.
