South Woodbury Office Closed for Election

The Board of Supervisors of South Woodbury Township met Tuesday, Oct. 3, at 9 a.m. in the township building.

The Bedford County Township Officials Association Convention will be held on Oct. 16, 2023, at 9 a.m.

The general election is Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023, and the office will be closed. The November meeting will take place on Nov. 8 at 9 a.m.

Cold patching and tile work was done this past month.

The Bedford County Board of Elections letter was reviewed.

PSATS Unemployment Compensation Group Letter was presented. There was no change with current plan noted.

The LSA grant was reviewed, and supervisors will not utilize this as it is not cost effective.

Plant operations reported that they are seeking their generator to be looked at and fixed. They are awaiting a call back from the company.

Trick or treat will be held on Oct. 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. The rain date is Oct. 28 at the same time.
